Happy 2024! 🎉 I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just published my inaugural article on Medium titled “Indiana Jones Wisdom for the New Year: Anything Goes!”—you can read it here. While my presence on that platform is just budding, I’m eager to explore new avenues and connect with a broader audience.
Writing for me is not just a task; it’s a joyous journey. The satisfaction of pouring my heart into an article and knowing it might resonate with someone out there, offering solace or simply enjoyment, is truly fulfilling.
However, I’ve encountered a challenge on my current platform, Go Daddy. Unfortunately, it lacks a comment section for my blog posts, making it difficult to directly engage with my readers. The ability to receive feedback is invaluable in gauging the impact of my words, and Go Daddy’s limitations in this regard have prompted me to consider transitioning to WordPress—a move that requires time and meticulous effort to ensure a seamless transition.
In the meantime, I’m excited to share some bonus articles on Medium, where interaction is more accessible. I find great joy in the possibility of readers commenting and liking my posts, providing a direct line of communication that Go Daddy doesn’t currently afford.
While my primary writing domain will remain on my website—the place I consider home—I’ll be supplementing it with bonus content on Medium to gauge engagement and build connections. Update 6/30/24
I’ve only shared one article on Medium so far and we are already in June. lol The reason for this is because at the time I joined Medium, I did not realize I could share the same articles I post on my website there. My priority is my website and I could not bring myself to write more than a few posts a month and sometimes only one, and I always favored posting them here on my website than on Medium. Recently though, I learned that there was a feature on Medium that allows you to post to both places. I could have sworn I did not see this before. Perhaps it is new. So I will be sharing both articles here and on Medium. That’s all. That’s my story. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! 🙂
